Michael R. McKinley

Mr. McKinley received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1973 from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire and his Juris Doctor in 1978 from the University of Florida College of Law in Gainesville, Florida.

Mr. McKinley served as Assistant County Attorney for Charlotte County, Florida from 1980 to 1981. From 1981 to 1984 he was in private practice in Punta Gorda, Florida as an associate and partner with Wotitzky, Wotitzky, Mandell, Batsel & Wilkins, engaged in civil practice. In 1984 he became a co-founding shareholder of the firm.

Presently, Mr. McKinley’s legal practice encompasses administrative and governmental law, real property and corporate law. His real estate practice includes closing and title insurance services. His clients include property owners, home builders, developers and lending institutions. Mr. McKinley is presently the Attorney for the Charlotte County School Board, having held that position since 1981.
